Students explored FSO’s archive of photos and documents—over 30 years of material!—and Professor Berkley showed them how to digitally process community archives. On three Saturdays throughout the semester, students also gathered to meet with longtime residents, elected officials, and community organizers. The invited speakers shared their experiences and perspectives on neighborhood change over decades. Lastly, Professor Collins led students on neighborhood walking tours to introduce major landmarks and help bring the classroom to life. Check out photos and videos from each day each, linked below.
